Thanks to everyone for your participation in the Giving Tree Christmas Event. Please note the following 2 requests:
1. Please send your 1st $40.00 to Darlene in the office by Friday NOV. 29th so that Mrs. Gyemi can purchase your family's grocery card.
2. Also, we have been asked if we can have the gifts ready to be picked up by FRIDAY DEC 13th instead of Monday Dec. 16th. Please let Mrs. Gyemi know if this is a problem.
Thanks everyone!
The cast list for the Sears Drama Festival is now posted on the Drama room door. Thank you to everyone who auditioned. The talent was outstanding. Cast rehearsals will be every Wednesday and Thursday after school. Attendance is mandatory.
The true essence of Christmas is not about the gifts you receive but what you give to others. So Saints, this holiday season is the perfect time to embrace this by buying a beautfiful poinsettia for that special loved one on your christmas list. For the next week (that is November 25th- 29th), Mrs. Gyemi's peer leadership class will be selling these festive plants in the atrium for just $5.00 each. Not only are you giving a heartfelt gift to the person you love but your donations are going to be our gift to a needy school within our school board! So what do you think, can we give this school an amazing present this Christmas? That~answer depends on you and your generosity, Saints. Let's make it happen!

Last Thursday and Friday our senior girls basketball team competed in the Ofsaa AAAA girls basketball championships. The girls opened the tournament with a 44 - 37 victory over London Lucas. In their first game in over two weeks the girls started slow and struggled to find their game but came away with the win . Amanda Milanis led all scorers with 12 points , Brielle Loebach added 10 , Hannah McClounie and Nancy Ulicny added 7 each. In their 2nd round game the girls found their groove jumping out to a 27 - 10 halftime lead over Waterloo Collegiate and cruising to a 45 - 34 win. McClounie had 12 points and Brielle Loebach 10 . In their quarterfinal game the Saints ran into a physically overpowering Blessed Pope John Paul team. Though battling hard , the Saints cold shooting and the size of the Panthers proved too much for our ladies. Lauren Pizzicaroli had 10 rebounds and 10 points for the home team. The team would like to thank all staff and students who supported the team so much throughout the ofsaa tournament. Special thanks to Ms. Chevalier , Ms. Fuerth , Ms. Herdman and Ms. Macdougall for their work along with Mr. Nehmetillah and his crew. Finally a special note to graduating seniors Amanda Milanis , Rachel Loebach , Rachel Pieniazek , Marissa Mcnaughton , Olivia Luff and Lauren Pizzicaroli who have displayed tremendous character , talent and dedication throughout their incredibly successful 4 years as St.Anne girls basketball players. You will be missed !!!
