Wednesday Announcements

MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11

Attention Best Buddies!
There is an important Best Buddies meeting this week on Wednesday after
school. All are expected to attend. Please bring in your Christmas
presents and craft supplies. That's Best Buddies on Wednesday after school
- be there!

Your St Anne junior basketball team beat Assumption last night - their first win of the season.   It was a great team effort by all with a final score of 46-39. Congratulations go out to Dalton Boyle who lead the way with 18pts.   Matt Broderick added 14. This weekend the boy's play in the Riverside Classic. Good luck gentlemen.

Please excuse the boys hockey team at 1:30 for their game in Essex.

Good morning everyone,
There are only 2 days left to finish your shopping.
The gifts for our Giving Tree families will be picked up THIS Friday morning.  Please have them all packed and ready to be brought to the atrium in the morning.
EACH bag MUST be CLEARLY identified with the name and Family number.
Approximately 5 homerooms at a time will be called to bring their gifts down.
Thanks everyone!

Ms. Sementilli's period 3 grade 9 class will take 2nd lunch today.  Thanks

Ms. Lamos-Bull's period 3 class is to take second lunch today.

Please release the girls hockey team today at 2:00 for their game against Villanova.

A reminder of the Math Team meeting today after school in room 206.  Any new members are welcome.

To all members of the junior girls basketball team; your uniforms are now past due.   They are to be brought to room 202 during periods 1 ,2 and 3.  If they are not handed in by Friday at the latest, detentions will be issued .

Yesterday, your Sr. Saints came up on the short end of the score 58 to 50 at Assumption.  A slow start plagued the Saints as they never were able to fully recover from a quick first quarter deficit.  Anthony Zrvnar, with 15 points and 7 rebounds, and Ryan Kiss, with 12 points led the Saints.  Team defense, decision-making, and overall effort all need to improve, gentlemen.  Practice tonight - 4;15 pm at Carmelita Hall.
Attention College Bound Students,

In October you received the necessary information to apply to college.  St. Clair has paid their visit and you have hopefully attended their College Information Session and Open House.  It is time to make some concrete plans and apply before the Christmas break.  If you still have questions or concerns, please make an appointment with your Guidance Counsellor today.  We can walk you through the process.
