MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

There will be a mandatory meeting this Wednesday immediately after school in room 174 for the Fashion Show! If you have signed up for this year's Fashion Show please make arrangements to be there. The meeting will take place from 2:25-2:50 approximately. Again, that's a Fashion Meeting with Madame Guadagno in room 174 this Wednesday at 2:25-2:50. Thank you.
Senior Boys Basketball:
Over the weekend your Senior Saints finished with a respectable 2 wins and 1 loss record at the Fanshawe College Invitational with wins over London St. Thomas Aquinas 59 to 54, and Chatham John McGregor 46 to 29 and a 59 to 49 loss to Sarnia St. Pat's. Tournament highlights included some stellar three ball shooting by Ryan Kiss, who tallied 22 second half points in the victory over Aquinas, 12 points and solid floor play by Blake Ondricko in the win over McGregor, 12 points per game by Anthony Zrvnar, and 10 points and 7 rebounds per game by jack Zimmerman. The Saints are on the road tonight in WECSSAA league play with a 7 pm tilt with Herman. Good luck, Saints!
This week's athletes of the week are:
Hannah Drkulec - Jr. Girls Volleyball, she is the team leader and her presence on the floor changes the game. Her ability to pass, hit and dig the ball make her central to the team's success. An athlete with no ego, only interested in working for the team and her teammates.
Ryan Kiss - Jr Boys Basketball - Ryan scored 11 points in an overtime league victory over rival Holy Name and had 22 including 6 threes in tournament action the next day vs St. Thomas Aquinas. Could both these athletes report to Mrs Van Beeks room for a picture please at the beginning of fourth period.
There will be an important Model United Nations meeting today after school in Rm. 269.
