Attention Saints!!! Do you enjoy learning about the sciences or do you have a desire to learn about the body and its functions? Are you planning a career in the area of sport or the medical field? Perhaps you want to become a child and youth worker, psychologist, audiologist or even a Phys Ed teacher? If this spikes your interests please listen up. St. Anne's is proud to announce that we are offering a Specialty High Skills Major in the area of Health and Wellness. You are invited to come and see Mrs. McCabe for more details and/or to pick up an application form. It's all about planning a pathway that works best for you!
Very important reminder for all students:
If you haven't already completed your course requests on Course Quest, be sure to get this done right away to ensure you get the courses you want and need next year. If you are having difficulty logging on to Course Quest or are unsure about your course selections, please make an appointment with your counsellor right away so she can assist you. Remember, your course selections must be completed by Wednesday, February 26, which is when Course Quest closes. The deadline is looming and there are just a few days left to get this done.
In addition, your $50 Student Activity Fee for next year is due by Friday, February 28. Be sure to get this payment in to your homeroom teacher by the deadline. Do yourself a favor and take care of these important responsibilities right away.

Your Lady Saints hockey team was so motivated watching the Canadian women win gold, they, themselves went out and played an impressive complete game. They defeated Sandwich 5 to 1, clinching a birth into the weccssa finals next week. Opening the scoring was the Jessica "the wrecking ball" Spratt, then it was Mackie "the crusier" Callery with 2, followed by Abbey "the sniper" Rice, and then it was Melanie "the dangler" Daniels rounding off the scorers. Alaina Mancina played extremely well, and was a big part of the win. The first game of the final is Monday, stay tuned!

Congratulation goes out to Krista Marshall and Eric Renaud for representing St. Anne's yesterday at SWOSSA wrestling in Sarnia.
Krista Marshall competed in the quarterfinal and ended up placing 5th.
Eric Renaud fought valiantly and captured the Bronze Medal to finish 3rd in his graduating year. Thanks for a wonderful season and hope to see all of you out next year competing again. Mr. Idone
The Senior Girls Volleyball team will travel tonight to UCC in Chatham to play their SWOSSAA game tonight.
The girls play a strong Ursuline College team. Wish them luck.
The boy's hockey team defeated the Sandwich Sabers last night 5-4, to win the series Goal scorers were Nic Mainella and Kyle Gagnon with two each and Tim Charlton with one.
They will play Villanova next week for the WECSSA championship.

Alaina Mancina played extremely well, and was a big part of the win. The finals begin Tuesday 2:30 at Tecumseh arena.
SAINTS BASE!!__Boys baseball Conditioning will begin next week in the mornings. This is especially important for prospective pitchers. A sign- up sheet will be outside the boys PE office. Conditioning will begin at 7:15 each morning. Sign up for Tues/Thurs or Wed/Fri. Any players throwing with their own teams already see Mr. Loebach and let him know your schedule.
