Attention grade 10 and 11 students!
Native Studies courses are now available at St. Annes. This is a great opportunity for students to learn alternative curriculum offered at only a couple of schools in our board!

Also running next year is a Grade 12 course, NDW4M, called Issues of Indigenous Peoples in a Global Context. This course is a great choice for students interested in social justice, law, international relations, world issues, conflict studies, history and sociology.
If you are interested in learning more, please see Ms.Cavallin in room 265.

Congratulations goes to all 20 members of the wrestling team who represented the school so well yesterday at WECSSA. We had 4 wrestlers qualify for SWOSSA next Thursday in Sarnia. Krista Marsha and Kaylin Cozad both placed 4th, Jessica Jenkins captured a bronze medal and Eric Renaud fought valiantly in the gold medal match, and ended up capturing a silver medal. Jessica Jenkins was also rewarded the MVP women's member for the meet, and Eric Renaud was rewarded both the MVP men's member and Most Dedicated.
Attention all Dance Team Members!
You are to report to the gym at 12:35, immediately after second lunch. It is important that you go directly to the gym at 12:35, right after second lunch.
See you there!
We had the exciting and the disappointing last night in our gym with both the juniors and the seniors playing St. Joe's.
The Senior Girls took to the court to make quick work of defeating the St. Joe's in three sets.
Kaila Crow had some incredible hits while Maddie Tracey and Maddie Moonie were solid in the power spot.
Kayley Lenders and Marissa McNaughton played fantastic defense in the back row to keep the team in the game.
Congratulations to the ladies who move on to the finals tomorrow in our gym at 4:30pm. Come out and support the team.
In the junior game, the girls took the first set with ease but dropped the next three 25-23. The girls played well but service errors proved to be their downfall. As always Hannah Drkulec was team leader in scoring and defensive play with Brianna Allen playing a strong middle position as well. Brenna Barrette and Natalie Favero had some great hits and Mya Fuerth played the right side well. Marlee Hewitt made some great passes from the back court helping Maddie Bardol to put up some nice sets. Congratulations to all the girls on a good season and good luck next year.
Last night at the Volleyball All-Star Meeting, St. Anne's was well represented.
Congratulations to Kaila Crow AND Kayley Lenders for making 1st team all star and to Marissa McNaughton for making 3rd team all star.
Fantastic and well deserved.
Way to go ladies.
