MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4
This is a reminder to all students who attended the first fashion show meeting before exams with Madame Guadagno. This Thursday, auditions will take place immediately after school in room 174. Ladies are encouraged to bring heels. Everyone who has already signed up with Madame Guadagno will have an opportunity to audition. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Attention Saints choir members our first Disney rehearsal is tonight only members going on the Disney trip to California our needed. See you there from 2:30 to 4:00pm.
This is a message for all grade 10 students interested in taking the Peer Tutoring leadership course in Grade 11: This course provides you with the opportunity to go to Muskoka, run a fundraiser, learn communication skills, and tutor students in your strong subject area.
You do not need to be recommended to take this course. Simply choose the course code GPP 3O0 and fill out the little application form on the counter in the guidance office. Then you drop the completed form off in guidance.
There are signs on the walls outside of guidance with plenty of photos to show you what the course is about. See Mrs. Gyemi if you have any questions.
The boys hockey team started the second part of the season last night with a victory against Sandwich 3-1. goal scorers were Nathan McDonald , Jake Lewsaw , and Tim Charlton. The winning goaltender was Nic Segiun.
Your Lady Saint hockey team defeated the Sabres from Sandwich by a score of 2 to zero. The shutout, (which is the teams 5 th in a row) was earned by Vanessa Despenic, while goal scores were Jessica Gaudette and Kylene Dupuis. One more win and girls earn first place overall going in to the playoffs next week.
There will be an important Model United Nations meeting today after school in room 269.
