MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

FRIDAY, MARCH 21

The list of students eligible to write this year's Ontario Secondary School Literacy test is up on the glass wall in front of Student Services. Would all grade ten writers plus anyone in grade 11 and 12 who believe they should be writing please check the list and make sure your name is there. If your name is NOT there and you think it should be, please see Mrs. Hogan or Mrs. Foster in student Services right away, or see Mrs. Jefford in the English department. If your name IS on the list and you don't think it should be, also see Mrs. Hogan, Mrs. Foster or Mrs. Jefford as soon as possible.

Also, if you know that you are going to be absent for the Literacy Test, can you please come see Mrs. Jefford or Mrs. Hogan as soon as possible so we can add that to our attendance that day.
Attention grade 9 and 10 girl hockey players. If you are interested in participating in the junior girls hockey tournament please sign up outside of room 253, Mr. Spadafora's room. This is a two day tournament, April 3rd and 4th at Lakeshore Arena. Last year we won this tournament and would like to repeat again this year. Thanks


All Volleyball players that have not handed in their Volleyball uniforms should do so immediately to mrs. Fuerth!!

2.      Hey you.  Ya YOU!!  do you need to complete your volunteer hours.  Maybe you are just looking for a good place to put your gifts and talents.. Or you have some extra time and you a looking to create something awesome and give the world a reason to dance...
Two or three organizations have put out a call for volunteers and are looking for help right now and through the summer.
See the glass outside Campus Ministry and by the door of Campus Ministry in the LCC for more info and phone numbers.
Get your hours in.

March Madness is coming to St. Anne's! Starting next week, the Best Buddies will be starting their annual Hoop It Up free throw contest. Come to the atrium on your lunch to shoot free throws for the chance to win movie tickets. $2 for 60 seconds. Come out and show the basketball players how it's done!

Attention St. Anne's students if you have talent and would like to share it with others please come out on Wed. April-2-14 for this semester's Cafe Musique.  
        All musicians, singers, bands, dancers, comedians, actors, etc. are welcome.  Sign up sheets will be posted by thursday morning near the band room 163.  Please come and sign up during your lunch on thursday. The Cafe starts at 6:00 pm sharp and ends at 10:00.  If you or your group participates in the cafe you or every member of your group must bring in a baked good as a donation to the cafe.

Today is the day, the first Annual Phys Ed Leadership Gatorade " Tug of War" compettion will be held on both lunches in the atrium.  The competition will begin 10 minutes into the lunch period so have your team warmed up and ready to go.  This is the first in a series of Fun Friday competitions so stay tuned to announcements for next weeks activity

TRY OUTS BEGIN SOON ....SIGN UP SHEET WILL BE POSTED OUTSIDE OF THE LIFE SKILLS ROOM!!
Two groups practicing tonite with the first ready to go at 2:30 and the second ready at 3:30 in Carmelita Hall.  Check the bulletin board if you are not sure what group you are in!

Attention all first semester Native Studies students:

We will be meeting for our reunion lunch in the conference room, next Wednesday, March 26 in the upstairs conference room.
