Earth Week Tip #3
Recycle bins are NOT garbage bins - nor are they a good spot to leave a half finished iced-cappuccino.
Banana peels, apple cores and half-eaten poutines do not qualify for red or blue bin status.
It's easy - and we know you can do it.
Paper goes in the red bin. All other recyclables go in the blue bin.
It actually doesn't matter the colour of the bin - just please try to keep paper separate from other recyclables.
And lastly - don't forget to take off the caps of your empty water bottles before putting them in the blue bin. The caps go in the garbage.
Three quarters of all the bottles we collect are nearly full of water. Stay hydrated St. Anne's! Please finish your drink - it's better for everyone.
Attention Saints Choir member's part of the Disney package is a T shirt please stop by the music room and tell us your T-shirt size sometime today during your lunch. Don't forget about our concert Monday night.
Stratford, Stratford, Stratford. You are invited to see Alice-Through the Looking Glass on May 5th. There are a few tickets left for you and your friends.
See Mrs. Villella or Mrs. Bushnell for a permission form. Stratford May 5th. Don't miss it.
The senior girl's soccer team fought off a feisty Massey Mustang team last night. It took a little longer to score our first goal but when we did they just kept coming. The team defeated the Mustangs 7-0. Once again the defense was stellar. Hannah Drkulec punished the mustangs with three goals in a dominating performance. Other goal scorers were Carly Alfano, Monica Brydges, Alayna Banks and Marlee Hewitt. Next action is Monday at St. Joes. Practice tonight at 2:30.
All students attending the second All-Comers meet today at Sandwich high school are to listen for an announcement at the end of period 4 for dismissal.
If you had signed up and are not able to attend, please cross your name off the list on the bulletin board. If you haven't signed up yet - please do so ASAP.
