MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 2

1) Applications are now available for the Bill Eansor Award from the University of Windsor.  Main criteria are 80% average, leadership and community and school involvement.  This award has a value of $10,000! See the bulletin board for more information.

2) Wondering how to finance university or college?  Students in financial need can apply for the $1000 Bradshaw Bursary. Deadline is April 30.  See Mrs. Foster in Student Services!

Applications are now in the Guidance Dept.  If you are considering and upgrade, full credit or E-learning  course, make an appointment with your Guidance Counsellor today.

If you have ordered a shirt and haven't picked it up yet, please come see me in room 204 with your $12 during your lunch by the end of this week.

The girls hockey team had a very successful day yesterday, winning both games and moving straight to the semi Finals. The girls beat Belle river by a score of 3 to 1, goals scored by Ava recchia, Taylor reaume, and Danieka Dupuis. in the second game the girls defeated L'Essor 1 to 0. Goal scored by Ally Piouret. Great goaltending by Vanessa Despenic who gave us both wins in net and stopped multiple breakaways.
The girls will play Thursday at 3pm at Lakeshore Arena.

We will be meeting after school Thursday in rm 210, right after school.~ Be there!!!!


Soccer.  Junior Boys.  Tonight after school.  Please change and go to room 176.  Bring running shoes and spikes.  Those boys that still wish to tryout for the team are welcome.  Again for those of you that were not listening the first time.......Junior boys soccer tryout tonight after school for all those boys in grade 9-10 that are interested in trying out.  Change and go to room 176.  See you tonight.

Its back - athlete of the week nominations and last weeks winner is an accomplished gymnast named Marina  Valente.  Marina won all of her events at WECSSAA and she leads a contingent of 12 St. Anne gymnasts that will be headed to OFSAA next week in

Peterborough.  Congratulations Marina - could you please see Mrs Van Beek today today have your picture taken.

Last call for cap and gown.  Graduates will need to be in cap and gown in order to receive their diploma on graduation day.  The order will be going in at the end of the week.

Math Team meeting today room 206.  Math team meetings will be held every Wednesday in April.  Also any students wishing to take the Canadian Math Competition are to register with Mr. Moscone ASAP.  The grade 12 math contest is April 15th.  All other grades have a contest on April 16th.
