Yesterday our Junior Boys played here at Ste. Anne against Kingsville.  From the beginning the boys dominated play keeping it in the offensive zone for most of the game.  The boys beat Kingsville 2-0 with a penalty kick by Andrew Brait in the first and a goal by Kris Vickard in the second.  They boys will play Villanova today at 3:15 at Villanova.  Come out and support the team.  The boys would also like to thank all the parents, and fans that came out to cheer us on to victory.

The Jr. Girls Soccer team will be playing their semi final game against L'Essor here on Monday at 4. Come on out and show your Saints spirit!!!

The senior girls soccer team at St. Anne captured the SWOSSAA AAAA soccer championship with a decisive 2-0 victory over  Ursuline College from the Chatham..  The Saints carried the majority of possession with the ball in the lancers end most of the game. Carly Alfano scored 3 minutes into the game but the saints failed to connect on multiple chances during the first half.  Mel Daniel scored 15 minutes into the second half and the saints continued to put the pressure on the lancers. It was obvious that the tactics of the opponent were to prevent the bleeding, multiple goals, and to try to force an outside game by packing the box defensively.  The girls played a tremendous game defensively but need work on their finish.  Their ball control and possession was phenomenal.  This puts the girls in the OFSAA tournament next week in Oakville - June 5-7.  They have been given the fifth seed in the tournament which is based on past years accomplishments at OFSAA.

Junior Boys' Soccer team.  At the pep rally please make sure you have changed into your complete uniform because we are leaving before the pep rally is over for our semi-final game against Villanova.  We will be leaving the school at 2pm so get all of your school books and uniform as you will not be able to get back into the school after the game.
