ATTENTION GRADUATES:
Is the death of one or both of your parents the reason you cannot afford to attend college or University next year? If you have serious intentions to attend College or University next year but due to financial problems may not be able to, then be sure to stop by the guidance office and pick up an application for the BBF Bursary.
Up to $2,500 dollars will be awarded to a student in need. Once again, applications for the $2,500 dollar BBF Bursary are available at guidance to a deserving student who has suffered the loss of one or both parents. Come to guidance for more details.

Wow! What an exciting and moving competition occurred this week as slam poets from all grade levels battled it out for the Saints Literary Laurels Spoken Word contest!
The audience was mesmerized as students took to the mike and recited their own poetry.
Thanks so much to all of our student spectators - we had an awesome audience!
We are especially proud of all the participants who showed great courage and skill!

We look forward to celebrating all "Poetry in Voice" and "Literary Laurels" winners at our school mass on May 7.
Attention all St Anne students who self-identify as First Nation, Metis or Inuit. Please see Ms. Cavallin if you are interested in participating in a writing contest. The James Bartleman Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Award is an opportunity for you to win $2,500. This is open to any student who self-identifies as aboriginal.

Hey Best Buddies!
Those buddies wanting to go on the bowling field trip tomorrow must hand in their forms and money to Mrs. May in room 204 right away after these announcements. Only those who handed in forms before first lunch are allowed to attend.

You must be there if you want to comptete in WECSSAA! We are finalizing event entries, so please check in with us, even if you have another committment.
Also - the deadline for the DRI-FIT shirt order will be sent in today after school.
Please check the posted sheet on the bulletin board, and fill it out with your size. You will have a chance to try on the sizes one last time after school.

During Catholic Education Week, Learning Support will be acknowledging students who are serving in the love of Christ.
Each day we will acknowledge efforts of students based on a variety of sub-themes.
Winners will be announced on the morning announcements and can pick up his/her certificate and prize in Learning Support on that day.
Today's theme is Serving with Faithfulness.
