MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS
MONDAY, JUNE 9
Today Team Ste Anne Smilin' Saints won the 12th Annual Day of Champions at
Cardinal Carter!!!!
The team consisted of Micaela Welsh, Anthony Scali, Emily Lewandowski,
Ryan Bierer, Jarrod Osbourne and Andrew Cses. Assisted by Katrina Lepara,
Genna Norton, Maia Osbourne Ms. Eliott, Mrs. Scholdice, Mr. Barry and Mr. VanPret - give them a big congratulations when you see them.
All of our students had a great day participating in fun activities with 140 other students from life skills programs throughout our board.
A huge thanks to Mrs. Eagan, our Educational Assistants, Mr. Gagnon and his period 4 music class, Jillian Robinson and 10 of our Best Buddies whose participation in the day added to our huge success.
Thank you to Ms. LoFaso and the staff and students for the awesome welcome on our return.

Your Lady Saints Soccer team had an amazing season. Unfortunately they fell a bit short at the OFSAA soccer championships. They lost 2-1 in the quarter finals to Bill Corothers a sport school in Toronto, on a late goal with 10 minutes left in the game. Melanie Daniel came close with two minutes to go as she got her foot on a ball that squirted of the post. The team can take solace in the fact that Bill Corothers were the eventual Gold Medalists. As well Dunbarton our other lost won the Silver. Coach Stanski would like to wish her graduating players the best of luck with their future endeavors. Graduating players are Carly Alfano, Monica Brydges, Brittany Gill, Melanie Daniel, Clarice Hogan, and Nora Broderick.

Attention dance team. Costumes must be washed and returned to Mrs. Amyot or Ms. Cavallin this week.
Hey Saints Athletes!
Your athletic banquet is coming up in just one week!! On June 16th Torinos will be hosting the annual athletic banquet. Doors open at 5:00. This fun night is a great way to end a successful year of St. Anne's athletics, and includes dinner as well as an awards presentation. Ticket cost is covered and tickets will be distributed June 9th-11th, that's from TODAY until WEDNESDAY. So make sure to stop by the phys. Ed. department to pick up your ticket THIS WEEK!!

If you would like volunteer hours and are interested in cleaning up our landscaping... meet in the atrium after school tomorrow: Tuesday, June 10th, ready to work.
If every student pulled just one weed- imagine how much nicer things would look!!
Remember volunteer hours will be given...See you Tuesday. Please bring gloves if you have them.
