The office needs to be aware of any potentially serious medical issues for all of our students. As an example, anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction that could occur if exposed to particular allergens such as peanuts, and requires the use of an epi pen. Some of you who suffer from this serious allergic condition may carry an epi pen on your person and that is fine, as long as you have notifed the office of your condition. Other students with serious allergies may prefer that an epi pen be stored in the office as a precautionary measure. If you and your parents would like the office to store an epi pen for you, please stop by the office to see Mrs. Thompson to get a form that must be completed by your parents and family physician. This must be taken care of right away.
If you suffer from any other type of serious medical condition that may require medication, and your parents would like the medication stored in the office for your personal use, we must have a consent form completed by your parents and family physician. Please see Mrs. Thompson for the form. And again, this must be taken care of right away.

The Senior Girls basketball team participated in the 32 team University of Western Purple and White tournament this weekend. The girls opened the tourney with a 52 - 21 victory over London Saunders . All team members shared in the scoring in a solid victory . Saturday morning saw the lady Saints face a talented Oakville Holy Trinity squad . A back and forth game ended with the Oakville squad securing a 9 point win pulling away in the final 4 minutes to gain their victory . It was the same story for our girls facing another solid team London Oakride . Defensive lapses and unforced turnovers were costly in both losses. The girls displayed improvement in most facets of the game and look forward to continue to improve this weekend as they play in the University of Windsor tournament . Ryann Dowling controlled the boards all weekend for the Saints and as well led the squad in steals. Sheila Haskings gave a solid effort and Elena Caldarelli had some outstanding offensive moments . Brielle Loebach led the Saints in scoring averaging just over 17 points per game . Better but still not where we plan to be !! Practice tonight at 4:10 .
Sr boys game against Villanova has been cancelled - we will practice instead at 4;00 here at St Anne.
The Math Homework Help sessions will begin this week. The Math Homework Help sessions will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:20 - 3:30 in the Learning commons room. The sessions, which are hosted by the math teachers, are open to all students taking math a course this semester.
