Our annual Coats for Kids campaign will be running during Period 4 from Monday, October 20 to Friday, October 24. During this time, we will be collecting used coats to be donated to needy children & teenagers in the Windsor and Essex County area. The class which averages the most coats will win a pizza party. Last year we collected 400 coats. Let's beat that number this year!! Used hats, scarves and mittens are also needed. Please go home and clean out your closets.

REACH – A Life-Giving Opportunity for Students to Accomplish Service Hours
The Diocese of London Youth Ministry Outreach Office is pleased to offer REACH - A one day event for high school students designed to help you accomplish 10 Community Service Hours and gain a deeper understanding of how and why Catholic Christians are called to serve.~ All high school students are encouraged to join us on Friday, November 21 from 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM at St. Mary's Parish Hall in Maidstone.~ We are grateful for the financial support of the Catholic Community Foundation of Southwestern Ontario (ccfswo.ca) which allows us to offer this event free of charge to anyone wishing to participate. Transportation can be provided if required. Please bring your lunch and an open mind!~ Dinner, snacks and service work materials will be provided.~ Registration forms are available at dol.ca under the Family & Youth/Events tab.
The competition is officially on to win the period 4 Coats for Kids pizza party. In fifth place is Mrs. Dayus's class with 7 coats collected. In fourth place is Mrs. MacDougall's class with 19 coats collected. In third place is Mr. Byrne's class with 21 coats. In second place is Mr. Moscone's class with 29 coats. In first place is Mrs. Livermore's class with 34 coats. Come on Saints and bring in your coats!!!
Jr. Boy's Football:
Yesterday your Saints played the Herman Green Griffins on our home field. In a game where our Saints never gave up, providing some very good football, we were defeated by a score of 40 – 0. Practice continues after school today.
