MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Because of the P.D. day this week, we will have freebie Friday on Thursday.

Any self-identified First Nation, Metis and Inuit students who are interested in attending the 2014 Career Awareness Fair on Monday, November 24, must sign up in Student Services before school starts this Thursday, November 20.


Dance Club

Attention all Saints interested in the Dance Club! The second meeting of the dance club is tomorrow, Wednesday, after school! We are meeting in the cafeteria and will work together until 4pm. If you are interested in learning more about dance, come and join us Wednesday after school!

Spots have opened up for the Technology- Silicon Valley, San Francisco field trip.

This trip will not be happening for another 2 years.... so here is your opportunity to get in and see some of the technology giants !!!
Be among one of the first group of students  to actually get into Google and enjoy hands on workshops, lunch and google SWAG...., Hands on workshops with Intel,  visit,  Microsoft, Twitter, Apple and Tour  Stanford University.
Saints also get to enjoy a  SAN FRANCISCO BAY CRUISE, around alcatraz and under the golden gate bridge

Also, SHSM students will receive $100.00 off the cost of the trip that will count for their "experiential learning" component of their SHSM program.

This week's athletes of the week are Morgan Ing and Nancy Ulicny.


Morgan Ing played a key role in running the Saints offence and played corner for the Saints defense as they knocked off Essex 17-14 in overtime to secure the WECSSAA Wilson Conference Championship.

Nancy Ulincy -  played outstanding all around game in Swossa championship on Friday night . Had 5 points , 6 rebounds , 2 assists , played excellent defense and helped handle pressure all game.


Please get your pictures taken with Ms Vanbeek in room 162 as soon as possible.

Your ladys saints hockey team started off the season with a 4 to 2 win over the Belle River Nobles.  The team was led by Jessica Spratt with 2 goals, Danieka Dupuis with one and Mackie Callery with the fourth goal.  The girls are right back at it today in Lasalle vs Villanova. Please release the girls at 1:50.

Photography Club will be meeting tonight right after school in room 162.

St. Clair College is hosting a College Wide Open House this Saturday, November 22 from 10am to 1pm on all of their campuses.  This Open House is for all students, any grade level!!  Take a guided tour of all areas including the new SportsPlex.  Financial Aid presentations are at 11am and 12pm.   Check out the labs, classrooms, Student Support Services and the brand new Eatery!
