The girls played a great game yesterday against villanova and came away with 1 1 tie. This was the girls finally regular season game, and with the tie the girls finish with a 9 wins ZERO losses and 3 ties, good enough for first place in the league. Well done. Playoffs begin in febuary.
Senior Boys Basketball:
Last night your Senior Saints ballers showed their great heart and resilience coming back from a 15 point 3rd quarter deficit to defeat Holy Names, 56 to 53. Standout performances were turned in by Anthony Zrvnar, who led the Saints with 17 points and 12 rebounds, Blake Ondricko, with 14 points and stellar defense, Matt Broderick, who added 11 points, and the Ryans, Kiss and McManus; Kiss with 8 important second half points and bulldog McManus, with solid reserve play down the stretch. Well done, boys, and good luck this weekend at Fanshawe College.
