This week's athletes of the week are Anthony Zrvnar and Kaylee Lenders.
Kayley is a quiet leader on the senior girl's volleyball team.
Her passing skills and court awareness help to keep the lady saints in every game.
Anthony was an all star at St. Benedict tournament over the weekend including a career high 37 points versus Sudbury LaSalle.
Could both athletes see Ms Vanbeek in room 162 for their picture sometime today.
Sr. Boys Basketball:
Yesterday your Sr. Saints ballers earned victory in a 64 to 63 thriller over previously undefeated Kennedy in WECSSAA Tier 1 action. The game featured all of the best the Sr. Boys League has to offer with long treys, dazzling dunks, killer ballhandling, blocks, ferocious rebounding, and fearless drives to the bucket. Standout performances were turned in by Ryan Kiss, who led the Saints with 17 points including the winning foul shots with 7 seconds left. 13 ponts and solid defense by Matt Broderick, 9 points and stellar point guard play by Blake Ondricko, 9 points and 16 rebounds by Mitch The Birdman Zimmerman, and 10 points 10 rebounds, and five assists by Anthony Zrvnar, Great job, boys. Onward to face Holy Names tomorrow. Practice - Carmelita - 2:30.
