All senior grade 11 and 12 students interested in the Outdoor Education field trip to Tobermory this spring. The deadline is only a couple of weeks away and although interest is "robust", deposits are "a trickle". Don't let this great opportunity to experience the great outdoors pass you by; get information sheets from Mr. Byrne in room 259 and get your deposit in before March Break!


Hey Saints!  It's back... the St. Anne's Literary Laurels Writing Contest.  
Students in all grades can enter one submission in any, or all, of the FOUR categories.

Awards are given for first and second place finishes in each category.

The categories are:
POETRY
NON-FICTION
FICTION, and
SPOKEN WORD POETRY (Judged by performance only)
HOW TO ENTER:

All written pieces are to be typed and submitted to Ms. Rozic (Room 267) or Ms. Cavallin (Room 265).                    
CONTEST DEADLINE:   March 2, 2015

Please include a cover page stapled to your entry with the following information:

1)      Name
2)      Grade
3)      Category of entry: (Poetry, Fiction or Non-Fiction)
4)      Homeroom Teacher and Classroom Number
5)      Accurate Word Count of Submission (Entries must not exceed 3000 words)

SPOKEN WORD ENTRIES:   You will be judged by your performance approximately two weeks after poem submission in front of a live audience during Period 4.

The next Math Team meeting is Thursday Feb. 26th after school in room 206.  All students are welcome to join the Math Team at our meeting Thursday Feb. 26th.  


Attention all staff and students please come to see the school Fashion Show (The Arches of Gold & Glamour) on Thursday, March 4th at 6pm!  Tickets can be purchased during both lunches or the night of the show for only $10.00.  This is a charity event and all proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in honor of Ovarian Cancer!  There will be a bake sale & refreshments for purchase as well!  Come support our students who have been working very hard to make this a memorable show & event!   


April 10, 2015 St. Anne's is proud to present to you, your friends, and family members a night to remember!  

Destroyer, A Kiss Tribute band, is stopping here at St. Anne's during their 20th Anniversary Tour!  The band is set to take the stage at 7:00 p.m.
Proceeds from the concert will go to purchasing equipment (servers, routers, machines) for computer technology students.

Tickets $10.00 in advance | $12:00 at the door.

All those that are interested in playing jr boys hockey - there is a tryout starting Wednesday March 4th at Tecumseh arena 3:30 start cost is ten dollars.

Senior Boys Basketball:

Good luck Senior Boys at Sarnia St. Pat's tonight.  Bring home SWOSSAA quad A GOLD!!!


Just a reminder to all girls soccer players interested in playing senior soccer this year, your first tryout is tonight after school in the gym. be ready to go at 2:30.


Attention all ARTS students or any student who would like one.  The Arts dept. is selling Saints Arts tuques for 10.00 please see Mr. Gagnon if you would like to purchase one.

Attention Jazz Band members our next rehearsal will be next Monday night from 2:30 to 4:00pm
Pit orchestra rehearsal will be next Tuesday and Wednesday night from 2:30 to 4:00pm.

All cast members music rehearsal with Mr. G    after school till 4:00 next wed.
All female chorus members rehearsal with Mr. G and Matthew Brockman for Beauty school drop out number on tonight from 2:30 till 4:00. on Thursday.
