The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test is nearly here! It's happening this Thursday, March 26. Most grade 10 students are writing in the gym but some grade tens, along with writers in grade eleven and twelve, will be writing in classrooms. Those students should have received the notices as to where they are writing this morning in homeroom. If you don't receive a notice, assume you are writing in the gym.
If you are a student in a period 1 or 2 grade 10 class but you are not a grade 10 and therefore are not writng the test, please make sure you report to the LCC that day just for that period.
Also, if you know you are not going to be here on Thursday, please make sure you have told Mrs. Jefford in Rm 261 during periods 1 and 2, or Mrs. Facchinato in the main office.
The information slideshow reviewing all the things you need to know about the test has been posted to the St. Anne website.
Finally, remeber that on Thursday, the day of the test, writers do NOT report to their homerooms - you go directly to wherever you are writing the Literacy Test. Please be in uniform, no books, bags, food or pencil cases, and lastly, NO ELECTRONICS! Put all phones, iPods, etc. in your locker.
Reminder to all Students regarding the Taxi Service after School:
The taxi service will run Monday thru Thursday. The pickup time is 4:30 at the front of the school and the drop off is at Sobey's in Tecumseh. There will be a sign-up sheet located in the main office which must be signed by 1 o'clock. If no one signs up by 1 o'clock the taxi service will be CANCELLED. Also, the taxi service only sends one taxi at a time which holds 6 students, so if another one is needed it may take 10 - 15 minutes to arrive. So, if there is no room in the first taxi you may have to wait for the next one to arrive.
Senior Boys resume practice today at 4:00 pm in the gym. Be prompt
A reminder to the gymnastics team that there is NO practice tonight. See you all on Wednesday!
Any girls wanting to play senior girls soccer must be available for tryouts this week. Practices will be Tuesday indoors at 4 pm. Wed outside at 2:30 and Thursday time to be announced. No excuses.

Attention all Track and Field athletes:
Come one- come all- even if you didn't meet with us before the break- everyone is encouraged to join us.
Be ready in the atrium at 2:30 sharp to warm up with the team.
Bring any signed forms with you. They will be collected during warm-ups.
Today's practice will take place indoors but bring appropriate clothing to practice outside beginning tomorrow.
