--PLEASE HAVE THE PAPER MACHE PIG WITH YOU DURING THE RECORDING OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT--

We would like to introduce you to the newest member of the St. Anne's community... our very own ENERGY HOG!  Or more formally:  Bacon Oinkerson
He has been found wandering the halls checking out various classrooms and he really likes it when a class has all their lights and computers on, even when they're not needed - like on a very sunny day.  Since he is an energy hog, he gravitates toward these classrooms and wants to stay.

So... be on the lookout for the energy hog in your classroom... if he comes to pay you a visit, maybe it's time to think about ways to cut back on the electricity usage in your room.  Even a small cutback makes a difference!

If Bacon Oinkerson does come to visit you... please don't hurt him... he was constructed with care.  He will only stay the day, and will be on his way to sniff out his next location.

I've heard that he also likes recycle bins that are not sorted properly... so he might be looking for that during the month of May.

All students going to Muskoka on Monday are reminded to be at school no later than 8:15 am.  The bus will pick you up at 8:45 am. DO NOT BE LATE!
Remember to pack rain gear...especially boots and a poncho or rain coat!
Monday is a PD day, so you will not be able to see your teachers before school.
Please remember to see your teachers today or tomorrow and make arrangements to get the work that you will be missing.

Last night in horrible conditions the senior girls soccer team extended their win streak to 5 games.  They defeated the Lessor Eagles  5-1. Tina Di Carlo recorded her first hat trick as a lady saint and Marlee Hewitt and Nancy Ulicny added singles.  Practice tonight in preparation for our rival game against Holy Names next Wednesday.

Would all Science Olympiad participants please meet Mr. Couvion in room 210 immediately following this announcement for some important information regarding tomorrow's  competition.  That's all Science Olympiad participants, meet in room 210 right after announcements.

There will be an important track meeting today at 2:30 in room 111.  Practice will follow.
