Attention all students who entered the spoken word contest as part of the Literary Laurels writing competition.   The performance will be held on Thursday, April 16th during Period 1 in the chapel.  Please check in with Mrs. Rozic in room 267 for further details.


STRATFORD, STRATFORD, STRATFORD....

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS interested in going to see the award winning production of Hamlet in Stratford on May 5th, please see Mrs. Rozic or Ms. Cavallin for a form and details.
Grade 11 students... What a great opportunity to see the play you will be studying next year! Come  join us for a fun- filled day in beautiful Stratford with a stop at Jack Astors in London on the way home!

Attention Math Team -   Our next Math Team meeting will be Monday April 13th.  

Attention any student interested in writing the Canadian Math Competition.  Grade 12 students will write Wed April 15th.  All other grades will write Thursday April 16th.  Please see Mr. Moscone in room 206 if you have any questions.


If any models or students of Ste. Anne's would like to purchase a copy of this year's Fashion Show---Arches to Gold & Glamor as a memory keepsake, please sign your name outside of Madame Guadagno's room 174.  DVD copies cost only $10.00.  


Boys baseball will start outside on Monday after school here at the school, dress appropriately.


Need a Summer Job?

Focus on Youth 2015 is a partnership between the Ontario Ministry of Education and school boards offering summer employment opportunities to Grade 11 and 12 students.  To apply see Guidance.  Deadline for application is Wednesday May 6th.
Attention all first semester Hairstyling & Aesthetics students, Mrs. Banks is extending a field trip invitation to all first semester Hairstyling & Aesthetics students. The field trip will feature a make-up artist here at the school in the LCC for periods 1, 2, & 3. You will learn a variety of make up tips from shading, contouring, colour selection, feature enhancement to creating those amazing brows. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. For more information stop by room 157.  Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity.



Attention all Hairstyling & Aesthetics students past and present.
Are you in need of volunteer hours, here is a fun and exciting way to earn them
Sign up outside the Cosmo room to help with hair and make-up for the Grease play.


Yesterday the Sr. Badminton team played at the Sherk Centre in Leamington to qualify for the wecssaa finals.
All members played hard and represented St. Anne very well.  
Congratulations to our boys doubles team Chris Rinaldi-Ross and Dalton Boyle who placed 4th in the competition.  They will play again next Tuesday in the Wecssaa finals;  also  to Trevor Scarfone and Nathan McDonald who placed 7th and will be the alternate boys doubles qualifiers for weccssa.  
As well, congratulations to Brad Gyemi who placed 7th overall in a competitive Boys Singles bracket; he  is the alternate for the wecssa finals too.
A special farewell to our graduating seniors:  Christen Chahine, Madie Moonie, Hannah McCluney, Brad Gyemi, Nathan McDonald, Trevor Scarfone.

The list for Junior Boys' Soccer will be posted in the gym hallway for second lunch.  Mr. Richardson and Mr. Geremia would like to thank all the boys who tried out for all their hard work and for making the decision a very difficult one.  Practice tonight depending on the weather.  If the practice is cancelled it will be mentioned at the end of day announcements.

Last night your lady saints soccer team defeated St. Joseph 8-0. Tina Di Carlo had two goals and had support from singles by Alaina Valeri, Emma Collins, Danella Valente, Nancy Ulicny, Marlee Hewitt and Elena Caldarelli.  Paige Brown recorded the shutout. Next action is Monday here at St. Anne's against Holy Names.  This should be a tight contest. Come out and support the girls.
