Attention all first semester Hairstyling & Aesthetics students, Mrs. Banks is extending a field trip invitation to all first semester Hairstyling & Aesthetics students. The field trip will feature a make-up artist here at the school in the LCC for periods 1, 2, & 3. You will learn a variety of makeup tips from shading, contouring, colour selection, feature enhancement to creating those amazing brows. Space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis. Many students have asked if there is an award for having above and beyond the number of community service hours required for the diploma. Here's your chance!! Rotary Club of Essex is offering a $1000 Award for students who have volunteered and upheld the Rotary Motto, "Service above Self". See Mrs. Foster in Student Services for an application.

The grade 12 Visual Arts students are having an Art Show entitled, "Working With The Environment". It is at the Art Speak Gallery 1942 Wyandotte St. East. It is happening all this week with the closing reception on Fri at 6:30pm. The following students are in the show Joel Blais, Amanda Gatto, Erica Greco, April Lesperance and Jocelyn Renaud. The Gallery is open from 1:00pm to 5:00pm Tues to Fri and on Wed to 7:00pm. Please Come And Support The Arts!
Attention all JUNIOR GIRL SOCCER players
Next practice will be Wednesday, not Thursday this week. Please spread word to everyone. Next practice is on Wednesday after school, not Thursday as mentioned yesterday.
Last night under horrible conditions the lady saints soccer team defeated Walkerville 4-0. With gusting winds the girls found it difficult to play their organized style of soccer. The ball wasall over the place. Goal scorers were Hannah Drkulec, Brielle Loebach, Emma Collins and Nancy Ulicny. Paige Brown recorded another shutout.
Next action is here on Wednesday against L'Essor. Come out and support the girls.
Attention all Health and Wellness SHSM students participating in the Wonderland fieldtrip- you need to come and pick up your permission forms in the phys ed office today- they are due back by Friday to secure your spot.
