Many students have asked if there is an award for having above and beyond the number of community service hours required for the diploma. Here's your chance!! Rotary Club of Essex is offering a $1000 Award for students who have volunteered and upheld the Rotary Motto, "Service above Self". See Mrs. Foster in Student Services for an application.
Freeds is now accepting resumes for student employment in the Class Act Uniform Department. Deadline is May 22. See Student Services for details.
Hello Saints;
Next week during both lunches your leadership students are holding a dodge ball tournament - so make your team and sign up for your lunch - space is limited.
The Dodgeball tournament will conclude with a Period 4 $2.00 buy-out on May the 11th. All proceeds will be given to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support their Youth Bereavement program.

On Friday, 12 of the top science minds at St Anne's represented our school at the annual science Olympiad competition put on by the faculty of education at the University of Windsor. They competed against 30 other teams from around the county, and after a long and hard fought battle in the science labs your saints finished in fourth place overall by placing in the top three in 4 out of the 7 events.
Congratulations to all competitors from coaches Herdman and Couvion.
You'll see them wearing their t-shirts today in the halls.
Please dismiss track and field athletes competing in the meet today at 1:50pm. There will be an important meeting for all athletes tomorrow immediately after school in room 111.
Peer leaders will go to their placements today.

Our Lady Saints slo-pitch team lost 2 tough games on Friday. They played well, and had fun!!!
