Attention Best Buddies!
There will be no Best Buddies meeting this week. Maggie Pinsonneault is asked to see Mrs. May sometime today. Best Buddies will meet next week to continue planning our end of year activities.



Hey Saints - our community is in need of volunteers for several races going on in May and June,  please see Mr. Ficon for more details.



Also - there will be a 3 on 3 tournament in our gym starting next week please see the sign up sheets outside room 114 for details.  There is a limited number of teams allowed and you may only have one Sr varsity player on each team. Sign up today!


Would you like to volunteer at Art in The Park this year?  There are a number of different things you can do and times that you can do them.  See the Volunteer Info window in the LCC at Mrs. Fuerth's door to get a signup sheet today!


Saint Anne's Sports Mania! Sup saints! You ready to get your sport on! Our school is running a fundraiser for the Saint Vincent De Paul foundation on lunch of May 20th-21st. We will be putting on some awesome sports-
Ping pong, tug of war, and mini-sticks! It'll be $2 per person! Signup sheets up now in the atrium. Also check out our Facebook pg "Saint Anne's sports Mania 2k15". Signups end may 15th!!! Come out and win some sports drinks! Sign up today!

Attention Saints! Come on out on your lunch to the atrium to participate in St. Anne's very first fun fair on may 21st-22nd. Tickets will be sold on the days of the event for 50 cents each or 3 for $1. There are a variety of games and activities to play and lot's of prizes to be won, including candy and a Tim Hortons gift card! All proceeds will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul so come join Mrs.Gyemi's peer leadership class in a fun filled fun fair!


Hey Saints, interested in games like ping pong, or tug of war? Then come on out and sign up for Sports Mania in the atrium! For only $2 per person you are able to compete against your friends on your lunch for some awesome prizes. Signups end May 15 so you have to hurry! All proceeds go to the St. Vincent de Paul charity? When is this happening you might ask. The dates are set for May 20-21. Come on out Saints and have some fun!



Sr. Boy's Soccer
Yesterday, your Saints played in the Semi-finals vs the Massey Mustangs on our home field.  In a tale of 2 halves, your Saints were up 3 – 0 after the first half.  Only to allow 2 goals, making it a game, but in the end prevailed with a 4 – 3 victory.  The championship will be next Thursday, May 21st at Academie Ste. Cecile, 6:00 p.m. kickoff.


Here are the results from the past week of our Lady Saints slo-pitch team.

Last Week

On Friday our girls played in the City-County all schools tourney.  After losing their 1st game of the day, they came back to win the next 2 putting them into the finals!!!   They lost to Villanova, a very competitive team 3 – 0.

This Week

Our Girls played Cardinal Carter on Monday taking a win!!!   Their bats were on fire!!!!   14 – 4 was the final score.

Last night our girls played a tough game against Harrow High.  It was back and forth until the very end.  The cold and windy weather conditions didn't stop our pitcher ..Katie Greco….great job Katie!!.  Also, great batting Jylliane Lavin, Moira Frey, Cassidy Barr and Autumn Mullins.

Taylor Holliday played a strong defense at 2nd base.  Wish the girls luck for Thursday's game against Belle River.



This weeks athletes of the week are:

Greg Johnston is the Sr. Boys soccer nominee.He Produced  4 goals in 4 games, 2 being game winners.

On the girls side there is Hannah Drkulec who represents the senior girls soccer team.  In the last two games against Villanova and L'Essor she had goals and controlled the middle of the field.



Last night the Tier 1 girls soccer  All Star teams were announced. The lady saints had 6 girls named to the team, 3 on first team and 3 on second team.

Tina Di Carlo, Hannah Drkulec, and Daniella Valente made first team while Briana Hogan, Brielle Loebach and Kylene Dupuis made second team.  

Congratulations girls!!
