On the weekend senior girls basketball team reached the finals of the Notre Dame Welland tournament. The team began the tournament with three wins but ran into a very good Sarnia Northern team in the final. Elena Caldarelli and Maddy Bardoel were solid offensive contributors throughout the weekend . Claire Lamarre and Brielle Loebach were named to the tournament all star team.
Last night the team defeated a spirited Essex team 39-17 in a less than top performance. Kyla Sovran was outstanding with tremendous defence and Brielle Loebach topped all scorers with 14 points.
Practice immediately after school tonight.
Attention all choir members: there will be a choir rehearsal tonight in the music room. Choir practice will only go until 3:30 tonight.
1. The St Vincent de Paul Youth Group will be making lnches for the Downtown Mission today in Mr. Deluca's cooking room today on second lunch. Please bring your lunch with you right at the beginning of the period. We need to get started right away. Please see Mrs. Gyemi in room 171 if you have any questions.
2. Mrs. Gyemi's Peer leadership class will have to take 2nd lunch today due to the St. Vincent de Paul Youth Group project. Thanks everyone.

Attention all Gr. 12 graduating students. St. Clair College will be doing a presentation to our college-bound students on Friday, Oct. 9th at 8:30 in the cafetorium. All Gr. 12 college classes are invited to attend. If you are a Gr. 12 college-bound student, but don't happen to be in a Gr. 12 college course Period 1, and would like to attend the presentation you are asked to see the Guidance department about getting permission to attend this event. You must do this by Thursday, Oct. 8th.
All Cross Country runners who would like to go to Sarnia MUST SIGN UP today on the bulletin board outside of the physed office.
