Robotics Announcement
On Sat. Nov. 7, St. Anne's Catholic H. S. brought 6 students to the Off Season First Robotics Competition at St. Clair College. The team consisted completely of rookies from the students: Brandon Bryans (12), Nick Fazio (12), Matt Dupuis (9), Anthony Fanara (9), Massimo Romanzin (9), Kevin Trinh (9) to the parent Mentor: Jean-Guy Dupuis and the coach: Mr. Bertucci.
With a borrowed robot from a London-based high school, St. Annes managed to complete all rounds and finish in dead last. However, throughout the day the team secured alliance ties with a few teams and managed to be chosen by Sandwich and Assumption to compete in the playoffs as a Unified Alliance of 3 robots. They finished #1 in the playoffs and secured the championship in 2 rounds of finals to represent St. Annes extremely well.
Thanks to all the parents who supported the team throughout the day.

The boys beat Massey in the semi finals
Last night - thanks to the fans that supported us.
We now take on the Holy Name
Knights in our own gym Thursday at 7 pm - please come out and support these boys
This weeks athlete of the week are Matt Bardoel from the junior boys volleyball team and Hannah Drkulek from the senior girls basketball.
Matt Bardoel has shown consistant play which makes him an essential player on the court.
His passing and hitting are key to the teams success.
Hannah Drkulec played fantastic defence and contributed baskets in second half in tough loss to Holy Name.
Attention Best Buddies: there is a meeting today at lunch in the Life Skills room to prepare for tomorrow's pep rally.
