Attention all members of the Robotics Team
Just a reminder that we are meeting in Room 203 immediately after school every night until exams start
Lots of exciting things are happening including the business team, which is now up and running with a field trip planned
So please join us after school in Room 203 for the exciting details
During Pope Francis' North American visit, he spoke to Catholic high school students about his passion ... that the poor in our world need our help ... He asked the students to reach out, that no matter how small the gesture of kindness we offer, we can each make a difference
In his gentle way, he said, "Poverty calls us to sow hope… Poverty is the flesh of the poor Jesus ... in that child who is hungry ... in the one who is sick ... in those who live in unjust social structures around the world."
Now, here we are, the St Anne community, blessed with good fortune ... so as a reminder, tomorrow Period 1 is Mission Wednesday. Last week, for our first mission collection we collected $200.00 - Our goal this week is $300.00
Please remember to give what you can, whether a quarter, a loonie or a twonie... and together we really can make a difference
Attention choir members: there will be a rehearsal tomorrow night from 2:30 to 4pm.
There is no math team meeting today. Next math team meeting will take place after exams. Members of the math team interested in writing the University of Waterloo competitions are asked to see Mr Moscone sometime this week.
This week there is only a male athlete of the week since no females were nomiated.
Noah Rochelau led the saints to 5-2 record last week, helping the Jr. Saints finish 2nd at the Massey Classic. His play also earned him Team MVP status at the tournament.
