The Tuesday night Kick-around will be cancelled Tuesday Jan.26- Feb 2 for exams and will resume on the 9th of Feb. at 6:45pm to 8pm
Hey Saints get your pizza!!! During exams we will be selling hot pizza after you get out of your exams, Thursday, Friday, Monday, and Tuesday. So bring your loonies and toonies!!!!
Attention Choir Members: Due to exams, we will not be having rehearsals this week or next week. We'll resume our rehearsals on Wed. February 10th.
A reminder that tomorrow is Mission Wednesday ... It will be our last collection until semester 2 begins
Here is an update from last week:
Although we did not meet our goal of $300.00, we did much better than the week before with an increase of 21%, totaling 242.00
We thought you might wonder where your donation goes ... Well, this means that the $442.00, we have collected the past two weeks will be donated on behalf or our adopted child Dew Leen.
She is from an area in earthquake ravaged Haiti, and this is enough money to provide her with 2 months of schooling this year. It's hard for us to imagine but students have to pay to go to grade school in the village where she lives.
Last year, we were able to buy Dew Leen her very own bed so she no longer sleeps on the floor.
So please think how much more we can do for her if everyone in our school contributes what they can ... Remember that your kindness is appreciated, whether you give a dime, a quarter, a loonie or a twonie.

Reminder to all swimmers there are no practices during the exam period. Our next practice will be Thursday, Feb 4th - that is the first day of semester 2. Be prepared to practice as WECSSAA is approaching quickly. Also, will Kennedy Dales, Ashley Holmes, and Hannah Chickee please see Ms. Facchinato sometime today.
Senior Boys Basketball:
Yesterday your Senior Saints defeated Riverside 80 to 58 in a rough and tumble affair at the Riverside gym. After a slow start the Saints came on strong and asserted themselves pushing their advantage to 35 points in the fourth quarter. Anthony Zrvnar paced the attack with 20 points, followed by Blake Ondricko with 16 and Matt Broderick with 11. Dan Gore added 6. Good luck on exams, gents. Shooting practice Friday at 11:30 am.
