EXTRAORDINARY WRITERS AT ST. ANNE'S!
The English Department is pleased to announce the results of the Literary Laurels Writing Contest. Students from all grades submitted excellent pieces in four categories:
Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction and Spoken Word Poetry.
Congratulations to all of the students who entered. The judging process was very difficult! The winners for the written portion of the contest are:

The first place finishers from each category moved on to represent St. Anne's at the OECTA Windsor-Essex Competition. We are escstatic to announce that Nadine Oligario and Matthew Brockman captured first place finishes with their poems or stories.
These two talented writers will now represent the Windsor-Essex region and will be competing for the Provincial Writing Awards in Toronto later this month.
In the Spoken Word Category the three winners were:
1st Katie Butler
2nd Kat Moscone
and 3rd Zachary Rezler

This is a reminder to all junior boys badminton players that there will be a tryout immediately after school today. The final tryouts for both boys and girls will be after the break. Listen to the announcements but be prepared for the first Monday back.
