HAPPY EARTH WEEK EVERYONE -
Thank you to all classes that signed a MICROBEADS protest sheet yesterday during period 4.  They will be posted in the atrium near the Microbeads banner and other posted information.  Teachers, if your period 4 class was missed and would still like one, please send a student to room 212 to pick one up today at the beginning of period 4.  Also - if it didn't get picked up yesterday - you can just send it down with a student at any time today to room 212.

As part of the LIGHTS OUT CANADA program, we are encouraging classes to make an effort to turn off some of the lights during period 4 today.  Every little bit of saved energy counts!  Even if it's just one row of lights, or a monitor being turned off - even a little bit makes a difference.  That's TODAY during period 4.

A reminder to staff and students who want to be part of the Tree Planting team for St. Anne's this coming Sunday, even if you are not already signed up, just meet at the green space at McHugh and Florence (near the WFCU) just before 10 am.  Stay for one hour or two, plant some trees, and enjoy some free goodies from Starbucks!
Bring a shovel if you have one - but there will be some there to spare.

We are meeting at the tent just before the opening ceremonies at 10am.  More information is posted outside of room 212.

Lastly, a reminder to students in Mrs. Cullion's Environmental Science class to report to Rm 212 at the beginning of first lunch to get ready to hand out the candy!

Last night your lady saints soccer team defeated Walkerville 10-0 in a true team effort as all team members conmtributed in the victory.  Abigail Daniel and Paige Brown shared the shut out. Emma Collins, Brielle Loebach and Keely Ryan had 2 goals apiece with Hannah Drkulec, Sylvia Pavelich, Anna Ulicny and Sarah Boyd each scoring singles. This extends their record to 4 and 0 on the season.  Next Monday the girls play their rival, Holy Names, at the University of Windsor at 4 pm.
