Yesterday your St. Annes gymnastics team participated at the WECSSAA invitational competition and scored some great results to move on to the OFSAA championships. In the level 1 division
Taya Fanara placed 6th overall with her floor routine and Serina Wild finished with the bronze medal on bars. Level 2 competitor Tianna Conflitti won silver on vault while teammate Alaina Pupulin won the gold. Alaina also went on to win gold on beam, bronze on floor and placed fourth overall on bars. In the level 3 division Emma Ghanam won gold on bars while Myah Pathak finished with a bronze medal on beam and placed 4th on floor. Level 4 gymnast Katie Dufresne finished with 2 silver medals on both vault and beam and placed 4th on her floor routine. Hannah Daniel also had outstanding scores winning gold medals in 3 events ( vault, bars and floor) and silver in her fourth(beam). In the Level 5 competition Maeve George won gold on vault and placed fourth on floor. Congratulations to all of you and best of luck at OFSAA which will be held here in Windsor April 25 and 26 at Rose City. See you all at practice on Wednesday.
A reminder that junior girls soccer tryouts will begin tomorrow (Wednesday) after school. Please be prepared for BOTH indoor and outdoor.
Girls slopitch, sign up continues outside of room 216, there will be a short meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) in room 216 at 11:00, beginning of first lunch.
Junior Boys's Soccer tryouts continue tonight. Boys are asked to change and go directly to Mr. Richardson's room, that is room 176 after school today. Dress for the weather. Again, Junior Boys' soccer tryout tonight after school, change and go to room 176, Mr. Richardson's room.
This year's High School Charity Fashion Show will be in honour of Transitions to Betterness. The night Show will be on April 14. Tickets are $10.00 per person, and there will be an intermission bake sale and door prize raffle. All period on teachers interested in attending the period one class buyout are to submit their $2/student into Mrs. Banks Room 157. There are a limited amount of seats, so get your money in ASAP!
