Happy EARTH WEEK everyone!
Today marks the first day of our Pitch-In Challenge. Our mission is to work together to help clean up the school grounds that are very clearly in need of some TLC - and it begins today with the classes of Mrs. Young and Mr. Tracey. All supplies (gloves and garbage bags) are available in room 212.
We still have slots open for classes to volunteer, so teachers - please check the BBS for an updated schedule of classes who have already volunteered.
Reminder to Mrs. McCabe, Mr. Nadalin and Mrs. MacDougall whose classes will be pitching-in tomorrow.
Stay tuned for other Earth Week Activities that will be taking place on Wednesday and Thursday. This coming Friday is not only a PD Day... it is also EARTH DAY... so we encourage you to spend the day getting connected with nature and spend some quality time with Mother Earth.
Also - If you want to be part of the St. Anne's Tree Planting Team - sign up outside of room 212. We will be participating in the annual event on Sunday, April 24, from 10am – 12noon to help plant more than 2,000 native trees and shrubs in the City of Windsor.
This year, the tree planting event will once again take place in the Little River Corridor at Florence and McHugh, just east of the WFCU Centre. See www.erca.org for more information.
