Mrs. Rozic's third period class is reminded to meet in the Chapel at 10:55 today and to take second lunch.
With the nice weather, we have noticed many students eating their lunch in the back courtyard, which is great - get out there and enjoy the sunshine!!!!!!!
However, you should respect not only the school property, but the environment as well and CLEAN UP YOUR GARBAGE!!!!!!! The courtyard is a disgrace, completely littered with students lunches and wrappers. There are garbages everywhere. Put your lunch garbage where it belongs saints, have some respect.
Anyone caught leaving garbage behind outside will be issued a detention on the spot.
HEY SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this week is CAMPAIGN week for student council. You can expect a whole lot of school spirit craziness with posters galore as your fellow saints battle it out for student council victory.
This is a very special time at st annes. You should remember that student council is a very demanding job, and these kids work very hard.
Take the time to appreciate the campaigners and take them seriously. REALLY consider who is right for the job. Who seems to be putting the most effort into their campaign.
VOTE is on Friday May 20th, You SHOULD NOT JUST VOTE for your friends, or the best looking, or the most popular. Vote for who you truly think will do a good job!!!! We need a strong council next year! Don't let us down, voters.
a reminder to grade 12s ... get your forms and $ into your homeroom teachers ASAP for SENIOR DAY! Don't delay.
The deadline for money and forms is TUESDAY MAY 24th!
Yesterday our Junior Boys' Soccer team played the second day of their tournament season starting off in a three way tie for first with Holy Names and Villanova. The boys had a much tougher second day but came out ready to play and win. They started the day by easily beating Belle River by a score of 4-0 with goals from Mitchell Demchuk, Joe Rados, Frankie Calvarusso and Martin Suszycki. With a bit of rest the boys jumped at Holy Names defeating them by a score of 2-0 with goals by Steven Caro and Martin Suszycki. Not having any rest, they started their third game against Kennedy allowing a weak goal in the dying the seconds of the game but easily walking away with a win with a score of 4-1. Matthew Andres and Martin Suszycki each had 2 goals. The final game was by far the toughest playing a Villanova team that nobody had managed to score upon. Villanova took a 1-0 lead at the half on a bad play by our boys. Coming back in the second half, Joe Rados had an unbelievable head shot off a corner kick from Matt Andres to tie the game and give our Junior Boys the best record in WECSSAA play. Special mention to the great defensive line of the team that held all the opposing teams to only 2 goals on the day. Your hard work made it possible to get the wins. Great job boys, way to represent Ste. Anne. The boys would like to send out a special thank you to Ms. Lofaso for coming out to watch our second game. No practice tonight. See you on the field for practice on Wednesday.
