The cross country championships for South Western Ontario took place in Sarnia yesterday and the much cooler and rainy conditions did not stop your Saints from having some impressive races.

We have two athletes moving on to compete with the best runners in Ontario at OFSSA in Port Hope next Friday and Saturday.

In the midget girls category, Chloe Crep finished 3rd and had an outstanding race.  The midget girls team was 7th overall.

In the junior girls category, Skylar Forrest had an amazing 5th place finish and will be moving on to OFSAA for the second year in a row.

The cross country coaches would like to wish our grade 12 runners, the best of luck in the future.  Of those graduating athletes, Anna Ulicny competed yesterday and had a very strong race.  We would like to congratulate ALL athletes who ran for us this year and we look forward to seeing you at the track in the spring!
