MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Cafeteria Fuel:  It is Tex Mex Day.  Chicken Quesadillas, served with Spanish rice, sour cream and Salsa.

Rehearsals for the dramatic arts portion of the Spring Arts Showcase will begin on Tuesday.  Any students interested in acting in our play should meet Tuesday after school in the Drama room.  Students who did not audition last semester are also welcome to join.  Please see Mrs. Livermore if you have any questions.

Any students interested in playing badminton this year are asked to sign up outside Room 209 this week.
Please listen to announcements for tryouts - possibly beginning next week.

Attention Best buddies!
There is an important Best Budddies meeting today after school in room 204. If you cannot attend you must see a staff advisor.

Congrats to the Jr. Boys Basketball Team who pounded Villanova and extend their WECSSAA record to 9 and 2.  The boys earned the right to face Herman on Thursday in the WECSSAA semifinal at 4pm.  Last night the boys had balanced scoring but were led with Andrew Ogley with 12 pts.

See you at school on Thursday as our Sr. Girls fight for the WECSSAA Championship at 4pm and the Sr. Boys battle Herman at 6:30pm.


Due to some gym availability, the first Pole Vault practice of the year will take place tomorrow, Thursday, in Gym C right after school until 6 pm.  All are welcome. Grade nines give it a try you might soar above the rest. See you there or see me: Mr. Garant room 201. Sorry for the short notice.

Today at the beginning of period 4 all FALL and WINTER athletes will have a brief (10 min) meeting with student council in the atrium - please promptly go to atrium after the announcements - students should be back in class by 1:15 at the latest

Spring in Paris and Rome.  If this sounds like something you would like to experience then come to room 175 today for additional information.  This is for all those students that indicated that they were interested in traveling to Europe next school year.  Even if you haven't already signed up, you are still more than welcome to join in on this incredible experience to see the Colosseum in Rome, climb the Eiffel Tower in Paris, sample Italian and French cuisine, walk the boulevards with all the unique shops and see the Mona Lisa.  Come to room 175 today on your lunch, again that is room 175 on your lunch today and find out how close you are to making your dreams of touring Europe come true.
