Your junior boys basketball team competed at the Riverside Basketball tournament this past weekend. The boys opened up with strong performances with 40 point victories over Villanova and Holy Names putting them up against a tough Kennedy team where the boys battled in an outstanding up and down game. Ultimately the boys came up short and settled for 3rd place with a win over Massey. Outstanding performances were put forth by Kyle Fazekas and Marcus Huggins throughout the weekend.
Congratulation goes out to the junior girls volleyball team that competed at the St.Clair college tournament on Friday. The girls dominated their pool and were in the run for first place. After a hard lost against Villanova the girls ended up 4th place out of 10 in the tournament. Solid setting and a 18 point serving streak from Olivia Shmidt, great passing by Hailey McMahon and Lauren Pupulin and awesome key plays by Sevana Rennert, Reighan Dales, Taylor Meloche. Great Start to the season girls. Come support your junior saints tomorrow night in our gym at 4:00 against Massey.
