Our ECO SAINTS Team is up and running for 2018.
ECO SAINTS is a team of dedicated students and teachers who are helping to reduce the ecological impact on our school and build one that is an environmentally responsible community.
Our first event will be NATIONAL SWEATER DAY!
National Sweater Day is February 2nd. On this day Facility Services will lower the temperature in our school by 2 degrees Celsius. EVERYONE is encouraged to wear a sweater that day and uniform bottoms.
Congratulations to Romano Liburdi and Jenna Pellerito who were named our Athletes of the Week.
Romano Liburdi, led St. Anne Boys Hockey to Southern Ontario High School Classic with lowest goals against average only letting in one goal.
Jenna Pellerito led the Sr. Girls Volleyball team with incredibly consistent setting and timely hitting.
Any current and and new players interested in playing football junior or senior next fall please see Mr. Ficon by this Wednesday.
The Boys hockey team earned a hard fought win over St. Joseph's last night 3-2. Joe Bohn earned his first WECSSAA win in goal. While Adam Collins and Liam Kweitz worked tirelessly throughout all 3 zones of the ice. The Boys are off for their exam break until February 1st.
Congrats to the Jr. Boys basketball team who extended their WECSSAA leading undefeated season to 9-0 with a commanding win over Herman 60-49. Kyle Fazekas led the Saints with 21 points and the team played outstanding defence down the stretch.
No GSA meeting next week due to exams.
Detentions will be today and tomorrow during both lunches in room 221. Failure to serve your detentions will result in your exams being delayed and writing with the VPs.
