The girls hockey team started the year with a 2-1 win over L'Essor yesterday. Sierra Mosconoe got the Saints on the board, going bardown in the second period. Strong defense and great goaltending secured the win. The girls are home against Villanova tomorrow at 3pm at the Atlas Tube Centre. Great work ladies.
Last night the senior boys basketball team lost a close game against top local team Kennedy last night by a score of 53-51. The boys worked hard and played a solid game it unfortunately was not enough and they fall to a record of 3-2 for the season. High scorer with 16 points was Andrew Ogley. The boys looked to rebound with another home game this Thursday at 5:30 against Massey. The team is reminded of their practice immediately after school today. Tivon Cox, Malyk Thompson and Darius Diaconescu must return their jerseys to Mr. Chevalier or the phys. ed office immediately or the office will deal with consequences.
Congrats to the Jr. Boys basketball for their outstanding win over a tough Kennedy team. The boys played a complete game on their way to 68-58 win. The Saints were led in scoring by Kyle Fazekas with 26 points, Brayden Amlin added 14 and Steven Hill chipped in 10. Come out this Thursday as the boys face Massey at 4pm.
