Cafeteria Fuel: It is burger day.  Chicken burgers and hamburgers served on freshly baked Kaisers with fries

All boys in grades 9 and 10 that are interested in trying out for the Junior Boys' Soccer Team please sign up outside room 176, that is Mr. Richardson's room.  Tryouts will begin after March Break weather permitting.  Again that is for all boys in grades 9 and 10 that are interested in trying out for the Junior Boys' Soccer team please sign up outside room 176.  Thank you


Senior badminton tryouts are cancelled for this Thursday. Tryouts will begin again after the break on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


Do you need your Community Service hours? Are you looking for an easy way to get them. Do you have skating ability or if not we could still use your help. March 16th to 18th at Tecumseh Arena. Help needed with a Special Needs Hockey Tournament.
Needed- individuals to time keep, help on and off the ice, referees, and hosts to greet teams and cheer them on. Lunch provided and snacks throught the tournament.

Would all grade 12's who were selected to be part of the Science Olympiad team this year, please meet in Mr. Couvion's room during second lunch today.  That's room 210 during second lunch for all Science Olympiad team members.


HEY Saints we have EXTRAORDINARY WRITERS  AT ST. ANNE’S!

The English Department is pleased to announce the results of the Literary Laurels Writing Contest.  Students from all grades submitted excellent pieces in three categories:
Poetry, Fiction, and Non-Fiction.

Congratulations to all students who entered and to our many judges who helped decide a very close contest:

Here are the winners:

In Poetry, the
Junior  Winners are
1st  Place:   McKenna Renaud and
2nd Place:   Laura Sauve
The Senior Poetry Winners are:
1st  Place    Jacob Spurdza and
2nd Place     Daniel Golovenko

For Fiction the Juniors  Winners are:

1st Place:  McKenna Renaud and
2nd Place: Isabelle Montgomery

The Senior FICTION Winners are:
1st  Place - Jacob Spurdza and
2nd Place-  Nadine Oligario
Also,  an esteemed Honourable Mention was given to  Meg Mooney for her writing as well.

The winners in the Non- Fiction category were:

1st Place Moira Frey, and in
2nd Place; Kristen Gore

In a second competition, the first place finishers from each category moved on to represent St. Anne’s last week at the Young Author's  Competition.  

We are ecstatic to announce that Jacob Spurdza and McKenna Renaud bothcaptured  FIRST PLACE honours with their short stories.

The senior girls volleyball team had a tenacious run at Ofsaa volleyball over the last three days making it through to the semi-finals of the consolation side and finishing 7th overall in the province.  Long set wins were against some of the best teams in Ontario and were won of consistent serving, huge blocks and precise kills.  A wonderful team effort, ladies we are so proud of you!  A special thank you to the graduating players of the team for your years of dedication and leadership to the sport and to St. Anne's; Claire LaMarre, Jenna Pellerito, Monika Kochanowski, Kennedy Hargot, Alysha Vipushan and Madison Stoyanovich.


GSA will be canceled tonight and will resume after the March break.  You may pick up your field trip form in the office today.



Any students planning on playing football this year please see Mr. Ficon at some point today.  This is also last call for hoodies!



Attention to all fashion show models:  Practice for this week will not take place due to a number of individuals away and absenteeism.  There will be a mandatory fashion show meeting the first Wednesday we're back from March Break. Its important that all models and committee members be in attendance on March 21st immediately after school in room 174 with Trinity Meyers & Madame Guadagno.  Thank you.
