There is an important Best buddies meeting on Wednesday after school to plan for Hoop It Up. As always, if you cannot attend, you must see a staff advisor.
A reminder that junior girls soccer tryouts begin tonight (Tues) after school. Please change and meet in Room 114 for a meeting before practice. Dress for the weather!
Last Thursday your Saints Gymnastics team took part in the WECSSAA Competition held at Winstars and achieved some great results in every level! Daniella Conflitti placed 8th on vault and 6th on her floor routine. Taya Fanara and Sevanna Rennert placed 6th and 5th respectively on their beam routines. Isabella Grandi despite an injury scored 5th on her floor routine and Jodie Schleifer placed 4th on the bars. Gr. 12 rookies Autumn Mullins placed 4th in both her events while Athena Schreindler scored a 4th on vault and a gold on the beam. Veteran gymnasts Isabelle Thamm received gold on her vault and Jaeden Kabol had an outstanding floor routine to also place 1st. Highlights of the day were Gr. 9 competitor Lacie Dufresne and Rachel Trnik in Gr. 10 who both placed on all 3 of their events. Lacie scored 2 silver and a gold while Rachel had a 5th and 2 gold medals in her events. Congratulations to all these athletes who will now move on to the OFSAA championships help in Sudbury April 22. Honorable mention goes out to graduating gymnast Nikki Vagnini who worked extremely hard and competed very well despite battling an illness before the competition. Best of luck to you all! Attention all drama students and actors! If you're interested in performing in a short play for the St. Anne Spring Showcase, please come to the Drama room after school on Thursday. Actors in all grades are welcome. We will find a role for everyone. Please speak to Mrs. Livermore if you have any questions.
There will be a meeting for all track and field athletes immediately after school in Mr. Garant's room. Practice will follow.
Baseball tryouts start tomorrow for all players Wednesday morning 7 am in the gym
The Saints Running Club will run today right after school, weather permitting. Come up to rm 270 once you are changed!
This is just a reminder for Grade 10 students that the OSSLT is one week away. Literacy Lunches will continue until Thursday of this week in room 265. Come on up and review before the test next week.
