Hey Best Buddies!
There will be an important Best Buddies meeting Wednesday after school in room 204. If you cannot attend, you must see a staff advisor if you want to be included in the year end activities. That's Best Buddies - Wednesday.

Girls slo-pitch season starts today.  Please release the girls at 10:30 today.  Girls change and meet in the atrium and wait for rides.

The WECDSB Construction Academy will be here to present to any interested Gr. 9 or 10 students on TUESDAY, MAY 1ST DURING PERIOD 2. Please see Guidance as soon as possible to reserve a spot for this presentaton.

The track and field team competed in 2 meets last week.  Congrats to the following athletes:  In the 1500m, Chloe Crep was 2nd and Terissa Baselj was 5th.  Noelle Tousignant was 6th in the 100m.  And in Pole vault, Josie Scott placed 4th, McKenna Renaud 3rd, Zeyad Saadi 2nd and winning their event was Brad Murphy and Max St Pierre.  
Jacob Grainger showed everyone his speed again as he won the 100m in both meets.
Congratulations to all athletes!!


Attention all track and field athletes.  The deadline for Kennedy relays has been extended to 4pm.  If you are interested in competing on Friday, sign up on the board.  
And, if you plan on competing in WECSAA, you must be at the meeting in Coach Garant's room after school.  Practice will follow.

Volunteers are needed for th6th annual Heart Breaker Challenge fundraising event that supports Cardiac, Pulmonary and Stroke Rehabilitation programs at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.

This even is organized by the Petro Family (Parents and extended family of Emma Petro – Grade 9 Student) as a way to give back and support important rehabilitation services for the Windsor-Essex community, and has raised over $400 000 in the previous 5 years.

Volunteers are needed at Malden Park in Windsor, ON the following day:

Friday, May 25, 2018: all day and until 8pm – Course Set Up
Saturday, May 26,201- 8am until 1pm – Course Set Up
Saturday, May 26, 2018- 1pm until approx. 6pm – Obstacle Monitoring
Sunday, May 27, 2018 – 9am until approx. 4pm – Course Clean Up

Paulette will send you a form that needs to be completed for Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.  Paulette can also complete any forms that you may have for tracking Volunteer hours.
