Girls slo-pitch!
The girls played a good game yesterday at home against a Villanova squad that was stacked with travel players. The lady saints held strong for 4 innings but couldn’t score enough runs late in the game to make a comeback.
Highlight of the game was an inside the park homerun by Jenna Brusseau that scored two runs in the bottom of the first. Pitching by Jordyn Barnes was top notch. A special shout out to Saint Annes own Matt Mousseau who stepped in from the stands to umpire.
The girls should be able to build on yesterday’s success and bring home a win on Tuesday against UMEI in Leamington. Good game girls!
Come one, come all. Tonight we ride at 4:00. Stop by to get a permission slip from room 216 for the first st Anne road ride. The pace will be slow. The distance will be short. Dig through the drawer and find your Lycra and mount up.
Attention track and field athletes:
Wecsaa entries are posted on the track board. Confirm your entries before 2:30 today and see your coach if there is an issue.
