If you have won an entrance scholarship, award or bursary and would like it announced at graduation, please stop by Guidance with a copy of your award.
Reminder: You are only allowed to announce a scholarship or bursary from the school which you have accepted.
This past Friday your Junior Boys played in extremely cold and wet conditions to start off their WECSSAA season. The boys beat a strong Kingsville team 3-1 and then continued their winning ways by beating Belle River 2-0.
Next WECSSAA tournament day is this Tuesday. Practice tonight after school for everyone, no excuses.
Hey Saints! Do you want to help the community but at the same time do something fun?! Well, if you do, this is the game for you! On May 17 and 18 on both lunches, The peer leadership class will be hosting “Saints Bucket Toss”. All proceeds go towards the St. Vincent De Paul Society. If you want to take part in this awesome fundraiser, make sure to grab a friend and come on down to the atrium/ cafetorium to sign up, on May 14, 15,16. It’s $2 for one person or $3 for a team of two. The prizes up for grabs are, not timbits, but Tim Hortons donuts…there is candy for all participants.
Keep in mind, it’s your loss if you don’t take part in Saints Toss!
Sr. Boys Soccer
Yesterday your saints played their semi-final game here at Saint Anne’s against St. Joe’s. In a game of complete desire, pride and guts, your Saints prevailed with a 4-1 victory. Our goal scorers were Francesco Barile, with 2, 1 by Joe Rados and another single by Matt Andres. Our man of the match was Robert McVinnie. The WECSSA finals will be next Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00pm at St. Cecil’s. Practice after school at 2:50 be prompt.
