EXTRAORDINARY WRITERS AT ST. ANNE'S!
The English Department is pleased to announce the results of the Literary Laurels Writing Contest. Students from all grades submitted excellent pieces in four categories:
Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction and Spoken Word Poetry.
Congratulations to all of the students who entered. The judging process was very difficult! The winners for the written portion of the contest are:

The first place finishers from each category moved on to represent St. Anne's at the OECTA Windsor-Essex Competition. We are escstatic to announce that Alex Gignac Goulet, Nicholas LeBel and Miranda Furlan all captured first place finishes with their poems or stories. These three talented writers will now represent the Windsor-Essex region and will be competing for the Provincial Writing Awards.
We look forward to hosting our first Spoken Word Competition on Thursday, April 10th during fourth period.
All winners will be recognized at our Mass and Assembly during Education Week.

Hey Saints!
Friday is Best Buddies day. We are asking all students to wear orange or yellow shirts along with their uniform pants tomorrow to show our support for acceptance, inclusion and our life skills students.
Yesterday your Lady Saints participated in the Vista Invitational Gymnastics meet and represented St. Annes with a lot of charisma and enthusiasm in their routines. All of the girls performed extremely well and took home a total of 41 ribbons! In addition 14 of our girls have advanced to OFSAA in Peterborough in 2 weeks. Congratulations to Maya Pathak, Victoria Hodare, Sarah Regular, Alaina Pupulin, Katie Dufresne, Maya Pathak, Emma Ghanam, Hunter Gouin, Hannah Daniel, Lauren Cardoso, Alex Payne, Cameron Nickels, Emma Gagnon, Victoria Grandi and our highlight of the day Marina Valente who scored 1st in all of her events! Best of luck ladies!!!
Also, Katie Dufresne is asked to see Mrs. McCabe as soon as possible today!!!
Boys Baseball try outs will continue Friday after school in the gym. This is not optional. Cuts will be made after this practice.
Boys Basketball uniforms are well over due. Uniforms should be brought to the phys ed office in a plastic bag washed!
