Attention all first semester Native Studies students, and students registered for Native Studies next year:
Our lunch scheduled for this Wednesday is postponed until next week.
Instead, we will meet for our reunion and meet-and-greet lunch next Thursday, April 3rd. We will meet in the upstairs conference room.
Students on first period spare, please pick up your course verification sheet in the attendance office today. They are due back on Friday, March 28th. Thanks
The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test is tomorrow! If you are writing the test, remember that it is important that you get a good night's rest tonight and have a good breakfast tomorrow morning.
For the rest of the school, it is important for you to know that tomorrow, the upstairs' hallway between rooms 257 and 262 will be out-of-bounds for all of periods 1 and 2. You won't be allowed to go through that area during the test.
Writers: if you know you are going to be absent tomorrow, please see Mrs. Facchinato in the office as soon as possible.
Please remember that you must be in uniform and no electronic devices are allowed in the test rooms or gym! You must write the test in pencil or blue or black ink and we start promptly at 8:15. Do NOT report to your homeroom! Go directly to the gym or your assigned classroom. If you have forgotten which classroom you are writing in, see Mrs. Jefford sometime today. Good luck!

There is an important meeting after school. Buddies are reminded to bring
in the supplies needed for the friendship-grams and their $12 for shirts.

Come out and Hoop It Up with the Best Buddies at lunch in the atrium! $2 gets you 60 seconds of free throws and you could win movie passes. Rumour has it that the record so far is held by a grade 9 girl. Come out and support our lifeskills students.
Attention senior girl's soccer players. Your practice tonight is cancelled due to the gym being set up for the Literacey test. Be prepared for outdoor practices next week Monday through Thursday right after school. If the weather does not cooperate we will be on our Monday/Wednesday 4pm slot in the gym.
A reminder to all SHSM students that part 2 of your First Aid/CPR Training will take place this Friday March 28. Please make sure you are in the LCC for 8:15.
There is a Human Kinetics Book Award. The award is based on academics and athletics but primarily how you do in the Exercise Science class. Any graduating student interested should see Mr. Loebach.
