We have been giving our Service Awards from Learning Support this week:
Tuesday's theme was Serving with Humility
Matt Mousseau - a peer helper from Mrs. Gyemi's class
has received this recognition - Could Matt please see Ms. Nehmetallah in Room #111j today
Yesterday, the theme was Serving with Compassion
We would like to congratulate Connor Boyle, recognized for his helpful nature
and Jillian Robinson, for the kindness and compassion she has shown repeatedly
in arranging performances with students from our life skills department.

Finally, today, the theme is Serving with Justice
This theme recognizes two students from Best Buddies:
Lizzy Bull and Joel Chillman.

Our Saints Ladies SloPitch team improved their record to 2 and 0 with a convincing 15 to 3 win over Walkerville. Hannah McClounie led the attack with 3 homeruns including a grand slam in the first inning. Cassidy Barr and the Maitre twins also had multiple hits and another solid pitching performance was put in by Kaity Greco.
The boys baseball team travelled to Toronto and spanked both their opponents by identical 4 - 1 scores. In the first game Kyle Gagnon was an rbi machine with three while brother Kody threw 5 innings of one hit ball. Mitch Zimmerman closed the deal with two innings of relief. In the second game Cole Brunette and Gibson Krezimski combined to allow one run while buckling several of the Michael Power batters with good curve balls. jack Zimmerman had a pair of triples on the day while Chris Rinaldi Ross did a fine job behind the plate and had a pair of infield hits.
