MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Saints Base fell to Sarnia St. Clair 3 - 2 in the swossaa final ending their season on the sourest note possible. Uncharacteristically, poor defensive play allowed the Sarnia team to score three runs on two hits. Jack Zimmerman was awesome on the mound. Cole Brunette had two hits while Gibson Krezimski and Beau Hunter knocked in the runs. The opposition had an excellent pitcher as well.

We have an exciting week upon us!! On Thursday the sr. girls soccer team will be taking on Sarnia St. Pats for the SWOSSAA title and a chance to move on to OFSAA, and on Friday the track team will also be competing for a spot in OFSAA at the OFSAA regionals. Come out to support your Saints!! If you make it out to a playoff game remember to take a selfie while there and tag “@StAnnesPepRallyâ€_ for a chance to win a prize at the pep rally on Friday. THAT’S RIGHT THE PEP RALLY IS THIS FRIDAY!!! So be prepared Saints for a wild final pep rally of the year. Remember to come decked out in blue and gold, and enjoy student council’s spirit BBQ lunch on Wednesday this week in lieu of the event. Bring money as Gatorade, water, chips & hotdogs will be sold.
Math team is cancelled today. Again, there is no Math team meeting today.
Good luck to the Junior Boys' Soccer Team as they play their quarter final match against Kingsville here today at 4pm.

2. Mrs. Gyemi's peer leadership class will be selling Kernals popcorn for $2 a bag, starting Monday May 12th until supplies last. Please support their cause, and buy a bag in the atrium, as all proceeds will go to less fortunate students in our school board. Flavours include White Cheddar, Butter, Dill Pickle and Caramel. Thanks saints and don't miss out on the delicious popcorn!!!
Attention All Students Interested In Summer School.
Many of you have picked up the application form but have yet to return your application along with the $20.00 fee. Deadline is next Wednesday, June 4th.
If you are still considering a full credit course or an upgrade for a course that you have earned at least a mark of 35%, then you still need to make an appointment with your Guidance Counsellor.
