Attention Grade 9 and 10's Junior Boys Basketball Players.
Sign up in Room 256 2nd lunch (12:15 – 12:55) Thursday and Friday if you are interested in trying out for the team, want to be a student manager (community service hours) or simply want to volunteer to help support the team.  Carrying a team of 15 – 20 players so don't be shy.

The Honour Roll Evening will be on October 22nd at 6:30 p.m. If you achieved 79.5% or higher last year, please plan on attending so we can honour you for your academic success. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you check the list posted outside of Student Services to ensure that you will be recognized on October 22nd at 6:30 p.m. SHARP!


The rumours are true!  This year St. Anne will be presenting the musical GREASE!  Auditions will take place after school in the music room on October 27, 28, 29 & 30.  Sign-up sheets can be found in the music hallway.  For the audition, you must prepare a one minute monologue and a song of your choice.  If you have any questions, please speak with Mr. Gagnon or Mrs. Livermore.  Come out and support John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John!!

All students in the Health and Wellness SHSM - you are asked to see Mrs. McCabe today for some important information regarding a field trip.

Attention Best Buddies!

Any peer buddies who are able to help out with Saturday's barbeque are reminded to sign up TODAY in room 204 if you have not already done so. See you tomorrow!
Yesterday the Tennis Team represented St. Anne proudly at both Parkside Tennis Club and at Forest Glade.  
In the mixed doubles competition,
Pamela and David Alvarez AND Dylan Ryan and Deanna Gidillini faced strong opponents in their matches. Although they did not advance, they represented our school with strong spirit and sportsmanship.
In the BOYS DOUBLES competition, Peter Barkho, Nikko Drkulec and Nicholas Adrakas and Mitchell Relzler ended up facing each other in the afternoon.  Rezler and Adrakas defeated Barkho and Drkulic, but eventually lost in the quarter finals.


In the Boys Singles competition, Richard Liu and Brad Gyemi  both faced some very skilled opponents. Richard lost in the quarters.  However, Brad Gyemi finished 3rd overall and will advanced to the WECSSA finals next Wednesday.  Congratulations to all!

All students going to Muskoka MUST sign in for attendance today at lunch with Mrs. Gyemi or Mrs. McCabe.
Students who have NOT been showing up to the dance practices must see Mr. Ficon and Mr. Geremia today to see if you are still eligible to attend the Muskoka trip.  
As already discussed, attendance at the dance practices is mandatory.

An important notice to all grade 12 students who wish to attend the College Information Program at St. Clair College on Monday Oct 6 - YOUR PERMISSION FORMS MUST BE HANDED IN TO STUDENT SERVICES BY NOON TODAY!  NO EXCEPTIONS!

Calling all Future Googlers!....
Those students wanting to take a look inside the Google Complex, visit Facebook.  Take a boat cruise around Alcatraz, and see the various technology museums and attractions, See Ms. Gayowsky in room 161 to get a permission form!

Attention Choir members our rehearsal will be this Tuesday instead of Thursday because of the mass on Thursday of next week from 2:30 to 4:00.
New members are welcome especially Gr. 9's.

Attention Concert band members there will be a rehearsal every Monday morning from 7 till 8am.  Grade nine students are welcome to join if you don't have an instrument we will supply you with one.  Please see Mr. Gagnon during your lunch if you would like to join.

Attention all Clarinet players the band is in need of more clarinet players please see Mr. Gagnon for more details.

ps.  There will be a Jazz band rehearsal the instruments needed are all the saxes, all the trumpets all the trombones and the rhythm section.
