MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

Grade 12 students:  do you plan to attend the University of Windsor next year?  Did you know there is an Open House on November 7?  If you are interested in attending this Open House you must register at the University of Windsor website.  This IS NOT a school activity.  You must go on your own and take care of your own attendance.

Attention all St.Vincent de Paul members, due to the overwhelming number of volunteering opportunities available this month, our meeting has been moved to this Wednesday right after school in room 171. New members are always welcome. If you are in need of community service hours or just want to give back to our greater community come to room 171 this Wednesday. Hope to see you all there!

The Jingle Bell Run is taking place in Essex and they need volunteers.

In honour of Sister Monica, we will be starting missions this Wednesday. Missions will be in Period 3 and envelopes will be in the teachers' mailbox each Wednesday morning. Please return all envelopes 10 minutes prior to the end of your period 3.

Sister had us involved in many projects, both locally and abroad. It is our hope and prayer that we can maintain her level of commitment. As she always said, Please be generous.  

Students with change left after your lunch, please stop by and drop it off in Ms. Gratton's class, room 173.  


Did you know that a new Dance Club is starting at St. Anne's? If you love to dance, or want to learn some new dance moves, then come on out to the cafeteria this Wednesday, after school. We will be running our first dance club session. Be sure to bring comfortable clothes to dance in.

1.  There is a St. Vincent de Paul meeting in room 171 tonight after school for about 45 minutes.  There is lots of new information about community hours if you want to help out.  New joiners to the Youth group are always welcome.

2. The Peer Leaders are reminded to come to room 171 for class today.  

Are you in High School?~ Are you looking for an opportunity to complete some of your community service hours or a chance to serve others in our community?~ REACH is a one day event sponsored by the Diocese of London Youth Ministry Outreach that will provide you with 10 hours of community service, while gaining a greater knowledge of why and how we serve as Catholic Christians.~ This event will take place Friday, November 21, at St. Mary's Parish in Maidstone from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.~ Transportation will be provided!~ Register at dol.ca/Family&Youth/events or contact Mrs. M. Reminder that boy's hockey practice is cancelled today.
We will see everyone at Lakeshore tomorrow. Check the list to see if you are playing.

Boy's Hockey -  Check the list to make sure you are playing in wed. You will be dismissed at 1:55 for your game at Lakeshore Arena.

Attention all students the LCC will be closed all day today and during period 1 on Thursday.


There will be No Jazz Band rehearsal on Wed. night . Instead the next 3 weeks of rehearsals we go till 4:30pm.

Cafe musique is this Wed. Nov. 5th from 6pm to 10pm. admission is 5.00 dollars at the door.  All performers must bring in a baked good.


There will be a Choir rehearsal this Thursday night from 2:30 to 4:30.


Attention Best Buddies: we are having lunch time meetings instead of an afterschool meeting tonight. First lunch buddies are to meet in Mrs. May's room (the room where meetings are held) for the latter part of the lunch at 11:20. Second lunch buddies are to meet in Ms Nantais' class (room 269) for the latter part of the lunch at 12:40. The meetings will be brief but important.
