Apply to be a United Way High school Student Ambassador.
Each year, United Way Windsor-Essex recruits 10 high school students that represent Windsor-Essex County Schools.
The Ambassadors take a leadership role and act as the liasons between the United Way and their school community.  The Ambassadors will be responsible for helping to promote two United Way events, and generating excitement in their schools.
Each student Ambassador will receive a $250.00 honorarium following both projects.  All Ambassadors are expected to attend monthly meetings, contribute to discussion and complete assigned tasks.
See Mr. Ballay in room 111 for details.  Deadline to apply is Friday, November 21st.

This week's athletes of the week for the boys are Braeden Braccio for the senior boy's football team and Dawson Burke for junior boy's football team.
On the girls side the winner is Isabelle Howie for the junior girls basketball team.

This is Braeden's third appearance in athlete of the week.  He had an outstanding quarter-final playoff game against Massey last Friday getting over 200 yards rushing plus 3 TD's.   He was given the job of locking down Massey's best receiver and did a great job against him.

Dawson had an interception, a touchdown and was the best player on the field vs essex in junior action.

Isabelle Howie -  had two great games last week as the junior girls basketball team finished their season undefeated.  Isabelle took over the 2nd half against Holy Name to lead her team to victory.

Can Dawson and Isabelle please see Mrs. Vanbeek in room 162 for a picture some time today.
